Our Story
In 2020, Lockdown hit and we became experts at skype, with Esther mostly talking and Ben perfecting the art of listening.
Distance really did make the heart grow fonder and we celebrated 3,4,5,6 and 7 years together while studying and making so many lovely friends and memories along the way. On March 1st, Ben finally got down on one knee, Esther said yes (obviously).
2021-2025
2020
We met in Gateway church, Abergavenny and spent several months (to Esther's annoyance) as friends and had our first kiss on Bonfire night. Our first date was at the local Cinema and we spent our first two years together growing up, doing our GCSEs and A-levels and getting to know each others friends and family.
In 2021, We both left for Uni to pursue our goals. Ben went to Loughborough for Automotive Engineering and Esther to Keele for Medicine. Leaving home was difficult because it not only meant moving away from our families but also meant a new, unknown chapter for our relationship (rather dramatic considering we were only an hour's drive away from one another).
On July 2nd, we would be honoured for you to join us in celebrating our marriage (!) with the people we treasure most.
